- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preferences. Our payment processor Paddle may also set cookies during the checkout process. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

When you make a purchase, Paddle collects and processes your payment information (name, email, billing address, payment method). - Service providers: Other trusted third parties that help us operate our services (e.g., hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements.

- Shared links: If you generate a shareable resume link, anyone with that link can view that specific resume. You can disable sharing at any time.

- Hashed passwords (bcrypt)
- Regular security updates and monitoring
- Access controls limiting who can access user data
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data and resume content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and resumes are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

- Export your resumes as PDF files
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

- Authentication providers: We may integrate with third-party authentication providers (e.g., Google, LinkedIn) for social login. When you use these services, their respective privacy policies apply to the data they collect. We only receive the basic profile information necessary to create your account.
9. Children's Privacy
ResumeOpen is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
